2012 A New Year for the RMA
Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of all the Central Office team I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year. The coming year will be a challenging one for the RMA. We are going to be running an adventure weekend for teams of 4 at Bluestone Adventure Park in March, this will be in conjunction with Cdo 999, who have already done so much to raise much needed funds for the RMA and the causes that we support in the name of the Corps Family. From April the 21st to May 6th 2012 we will be running the second Royal Marines Charity Support Appeal, last year with your amazing fundraising efforts you managed to raise in excess of £140,000 in little over two weeks. We need your help again so that we can do the same, if not better this year. It does not matter what you do to raise money, we want you to have fun, make some new friends and hopefully a few pounds for the RMA. All monies raised will be sent to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF) this is the overarching fund that the Corps uses to support the Corps Family from adventure training to ensuring that our wounded and bereaved get the support that they need.
We will also have all the normal events that we run every year, these are getting bigger and better every year. From the Graspan Parade in London to the Spean Bridge Parade in Scotland, the RMA will be all over the country supporting the Corps Family and our tradition of brotherhood and togetherness. Please support our efforts this year, you will be most welcome at any event or branch and we are always looking for new friends.
Kind Regards
