A Fond Farewell And Exciting Times

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our Chief Executive Charlie Hobson has just over a week remaining in his post before he takes a well earned break prior to starting his new job with Charter house in London. For those of you who know, or have met the man you will know just what I mean when I say how exeptional he is at his job and how much we are all going to miss his drive, humour and sense of fun. However, Charlie has left for the very best of reasons and the RMA is in great shape to face the future without him at the helm.

2012 sees us with many events, large and small going on around the country for all to enjoy and take part in as part of the Royal Marines Family. One of our main thrusts for next year will be the second Royal Marines Charity Support Appeal, which will run from the 21st April to 06 May 2012. This will be driven by the RMA and we need as many people to take part as possible. It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you have fun, and can raise some money for the RMA and in turn the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. Please contact Central Office for a fund raising pack and get involved. The more money that we raise the more we can do for the Corps Family over the coming months and years.
